Julia Navarro

Julia Navarro (Madrid, 1953) is a journalist and throughout her career she has worked for the print media, radio and television networks.

She is also author of the books on current political affairs Us, the Transition; Between Felipe and Aznar; The Left coming up and Mrs. President.

Julia has just finished publishing her last novel Tell me who I am, a spectacular chronicle of this century’s history seen from the eyes of a mysterious woman. To date she has published four novels. With the first, The Brotherhood of the Holy Shroud, she obtained a spectacular success and attained the first bestseller rankings in Spain and abroad. With the following, The Bible of Clay and The Blood of the Innocent, both a success among the public and critics, she has become one of the best Spanish writers with greater international projection. These three titles have currently sold more than three million copies and have been published in thirty countries, among them Italy, Germany, Portugal, Russia, Korea, Japan, China, United Kingdom and the USA. In the last years Julia has received many and important recognitions: “Qué Leer” Award for the best Spanish novel in 2004, VIII “Crisol” Readers Award, Cartagena City Award 2004, “Silver Pen” Award at the Bilbao Book Fair 2005, “Protagonists” Literature Award and “More than Music” Books Award in 2006.
